Robin will build cabins instantly, so you won't need to wait any days in game for your friend to join you. They're quite cheap, so even if you've just started a new farm you should be able to create a spot for your friend quickly by bringing her 100 gold and 10 stones or 10 wood. Visit Robin's shop to build up to three cabins for anyone you want to invite. If you want to turn your solo farm into a multiplayer farm, don't worry. It helps heal faster (which is good), but also makes Radaway completely un-radiate you (which may inconvenience some radiation-management strategies once you've gone junkie and Refreshing Beverages can't be used anymore.). Lead Belly 1 (will degrade your capability to fine-tune your rads using uncooked food). Chem Resistant 1 or 2 (will degrade or destroy junkie capability). Party boy/girl 1 (will prevent alcohol addiction and degrade junkie capability). Ghoulish 4 (will heal your rads destroy rad/low-health capability). Solar powered 2 (will heal your rads destroy rad capability). Obviously you'll eventually max out all your SPECIAL, but leave the less influential stuff (like the last two points of PER and the last 5 points of LUCK) and picking up their respective bobbleheads to later, and don't waste any perks on anything that applies inside VATS, including criticals, as it'll mean you have to wait longer for the core perks. This build needs about 150-170 core perk points to shine. It works in 4 phases, ramps into nearly level 300 by endgame, prints XP like mad, and the further in you get, the crazier the damage it delivers. I wrote it up on Reddit a while back (in a way that's hard to understand), posting here again to get people's feedback. Just started another playthrough using my yardstick high-damage build. |
